Stroke of Luck

In April 2008 Yolande decided it was time to renovate her bathroom.  Yolande won the James Hardie Bathroom Makeover competition valued at $7500, the prize included James Hardie HardieGlaze Lining and accessories, Clearlite Bathroom fittings, labour from Superb Bathrooms, tap ware from Methven and Farmers vouchers.

Her bathroom was in desperate need of repair and the prize could not have come at a better time.  The bathroom was tiny, it was consumed with damp and everything from the floor board to the vanity was breaking down.

Yolande decided to remove everything, and start from scratch.  She had a small cupboard in the corner of the bathroom, which took up a fair amount of space, so she had it had removed. She added a shower over bath which meant she could save on space and not have to choose one over the other, a new vanity, heated towel rail and new tap ware.
 
With the walls relined in James Hardie HardieGlaze Lining with natural anodised jointers, Yolande’s created a bathroom that’s practical, stylish and easy to clean.

She used Superb Bathrooms to complete most of the labour and had a friend help her put the finishing touches to the bathroom, they installed the scotia, repainted the woodwork, sealed and painted the ceiling.

“I am very pleased with my new bathroom; it is functional, clean and more importantly dry.  This whole process has been an exciting learning curve for me and I have picked up some new skills that I would have never otherwise had the opportunity to learn, so thanks once again.
